Axim x50v Keeps Switching On While on Cradle

Hi,

Since upgrading to WM5 and Active Sync 4.5 on my x50v, I have seen that while sitting on the cradle attached to my PC that every 5-10mins the axim turns itself on....Is there a way to stop this? I would prefer to leave it on the cradle charging over night but switched off after I have finished syncing.

Look for the fake server trick on the forum. Basically, you set up a server, then you can change the schecule to manual, and then you delete the server.

I did this, but find that it still turns on by itself from time to time. It happens less though...

Well, you say you have your Axim in the cradle attached to your computer, is the computer on?? If you have the computer on and the Axim is in the cradle, then ActiveSync on your PC is activated and it will automatically sync every so often and that will wake up your Axim. Does your cradle have a removable power cord on the back? you can buy an adapter plug for it that plugs right into the Axim for charging and won't need to cradle it.

You can also use active sync toggle from micrologics.
