Hi,

I have an X50 which, in the years I've owned it, has probably seen 10 hours use in total.

However, I've just decided to start using it as intended, and after I'd charged her up, I got asked to calibrate the screen.

I calibrated as normal, but it then just asked me to calibrate again...and again...and again!

No matter what I do (soft reset, hard reset etc, remove battery etc), I cannot get past the calibration screen.

Can anyone help with this?

Obviously its out of warranty...so can I send it anywhere to be looked at? I'm in the UK.

if you're out of warrenty you are probably out of luck... :|

you can try using a can of compressed air to GENTLY blow out the dust from the sides of the digitizer. other option i've had work is use the sticky side of a sticky note and remove dirt from the lip between the case and the digitizer.

short of those failing, its probably broke :(
