Wow. This is interesting, as my X50v is doing exactly the same thing. I've also had issues with the batteries draining instantly to zero, so it's probably some type of battery issue. I have 4 different batteries. though and I get the random memory error detected messages with all 4. I upgraded to WM6 from Wm2003 SE and I'm still getting the same thing. I'll have to try the backup battery thing next, unless anyone has any other advice.
