X50v randomly turning on in cradle

I took the plunge and upgraded my 50v to WM5 tonight plus the #2 Rom upgrade for Dell. Now my PPC is randomly turning on while in the cradle with any initiation from me initiating ActiveSync. Anybody else with this problem now or in the past? Is there any fix for this problem? Thanks in advance.

I had this problem with my old Toshiba Win2003SE PDA and my current QTek 9100 WinMob5 phone. My x50v with win2003SE didn't have the problem. I use the latest activesync.

You need to apply the Activesync fake server hack, as found on this site somewhere, will have a look, yet your probably search for it and find it quicker than me...

Something about setting up an exchange server and giving it a false name etc...then selecting manually updated and then deleting it all I think...

This stops your activeSync coming on randomly and saves battery use when away from mains power...
