Mad 2nd Axim 2nd dead pixel...

I wouldn't exchange a device just because of a dead pixel but I have to say that I am annoyed.

Due to error my Axim was exchanged.

My first one had a dead blue pixel in the bottom right area, so after having used it for over one year I was quite happy that I would not only get a functioning device but also a display with all pixels working.

Unluckily now I have one again. in the middle of the screen

Nothing has changed about me not exchanging it just because of that but still, that should not happen?

Was it lucky me getting the two that have dead pixels or has anyone else that problem, too?

well, there is a differnce between dead, and stuck pixels. it looks liek you have stuck. dead, means that there is no repairing the pixel, stuck means that the pixel doesnt have enough liquid crystal to function.

take a microfiber cloth, pull it around your fnger, and
GENTLY, BUT FIRMLY, rub the offending pixel(s) for about 5 min eatch. what this does, is it spreads the liquid crystal around and into the pixel.

this worked for me.

The X50 and the X51 are almost totally same. This applies to ALL LCD screens.

When its off.
