I still don't know what caused it but a few days ago something happened to my X50 overnight and when I turned it on in the morning it had hard reset. my only explanation is that it was in my camera bag andI left the key lock swith off and something was pressed against some of the buttons and as I carried it from my car to my office inside the bag something triggered a hard reset ??!!??
Anyway, I have a mugen 1800 extended battery fitted which usually shows over 3 and a half hours capacity, but now it only shows about an hour and a half after charging all night. any ideas about this ?? do I have to reset something to remind it there's an extended battery fitted ??

does anyone have any ideas on this please, I am getting about 1 hour 15mins now wether i use my standard battery or my mugen 1800 extended battery, it's as if the axim can only display a maximum of about 1hr 15 regardless of what it's running on.

you say its 'showing' only 1 hr 15 mins... but the built in power gauge only shows percentages. What is telling you?

OK sorry, I'm using pocket plus with the icon battery meter, my internal meter and the percentage value on Pocket Plus say at the moment 74% but the time left (pocket plus) says 43 minutes which does not make sense, at 74% I should have a couple of hours left.
i'm using pocket plus version 3.2.0

How does pocket plus know what capacity battery you have?

It maybe that it uses usage stats to calibrate itself, in which case it will get more accurate over time.
