Buttons failure

Hello, I've dropped my Axim and since then the bottom button, with the exception of the Calendar button, have stopped working. Everything else is fine. I've tried resetting to no avail. My guess is that the button pressure switches are somehow broken. Do you know if I can fix it myself? Or if not, do you know of a repair shop in the Montreal, Canada region?

Thanks,

Jean-Pierre

I had this problem once, there is a connector that connects the buttons to the mainboard, an it came loose. I just took it apart, plugged it back in all the way, and all was good.

Mine too ...and i didnt drop it

I have the same problem. Thought it was just a software glitch affecting the buttons...had installed the second WM5 upgrade, but i got screen corruption and uninstalled WM5 but was unable to do a hard reset, the button to select hard reset wouldn't work ...so only the bottom most left button now works and the side ones of course, and my expanded warranty "just ran out 3 weeks ago...sux big time. Still at least i got it working and since i dont really use the buttong for anything but page up and down ...it is a compromise.
