Dropped it onto a hard, laminate floor. Now there's a visible crack on the right hand side, and almost no touches seem to register -- occasionally it will detect a touch in the top right hand side. Buttons seem fine.

Any suggestions for possible repair? I don't have warranty coverage.

Sounds like your digitizer is cracked. Make sure the LCD isn't busted as well - if the colors looks smooshed or there are black lines, then the LCD needs to be replaced as well.

Personally I would pay someone to replace it or scrap it for parts, likely to be cheaper in the long run.

Thanks for the link to your posts. Yeah, things don't look good. I might just look for a new PDA then -- I kind of want one with wi-fi anyway.
