My bluetooth light came on and stays on I cannot turn it off A soft reset has no effect. I have not yet tried a hard reset
Any ideas?

Wireless, whether WiFi or bluetooth, will survive a soft reset.

There are a couple of solutions:

1. Try pushing the top button on the left side of the PDA twice, this should disable whatever wireless is active.

2. There should also be 2 icons on the lower left of the Today screen, 1 for BT and 1 for WiFi. Click on the BT icon and turn it off.
