main board corrosion cleaner

Some minor corrosion on one of the LCD pins on the main board of my x50v,
Any advice about applying a corrosion cleaner that wont eat the PCB ..?

Check places like Radio Shack or Digi Key for contact and/or corosion cleaner. This is not a new problem in the circuit board world and there are solutions that are safe. Some may have a corrosion inhibitor as well.

Actually I got a big warning from bigbop againest this, he says "you can only make things worse", so for now .. I guess I will just stick to the tooth brush and the pencil eraser.
