I just bought an x50v

I installed active synch and it got to the point where it said connect the usb cable and when i did the new hardware found box came up and i had it search and it couldnt find a driver a....i had it look on the cd and it couldnt find a driver

i trid t o pick from list but couldnt get a list of drivers up

Is the driver an xp driver or does it come on a dell disk

it is loaded with wm 5.0 which is working fine

any ideas ?

You have to install activesync before you connect your Axim. Delete activesync, reboot and then install activesync. Then connect your Axim and the New hardware should show up. Activesync will then ask if you want to create a partnership. Select yes and give your axim a name and then away you go.

Note: you have to have Outlook installed prior to activesync if you want to sync your contacts etc.

make sure the version of activesync is 4. something...

3.something won't work with wm5
