The connector on the top of my cradle broke off and now I can't recharge my Dell anymore. Within a few hours the batteries will lose all of their charge, and I won't be able to use my Axim anymore.
I am really upset because there is absolutely no way to recharge now. I don't want to have to throw my Axim away.
If you are going to throw it away... can I have it.
alternativley you could buy a new cradle, or use the charging adaptor with the power supply.

I don't know which Axim you have - but - I should have an A/C adapter that goes into your PDA. If not, you can buy a new cradle or an A/C charging cable. It's better than throwing the PDA away.
Well today I managed to adjust the connector on the cradle so that if I struggle at putting the Axim in the cradle just right (which involves several minutes of moving it around in the cradle), it will eventually start charging. This is still horrible cause it makes using charging a real pain.
Unfortunately, since I bought my Axim used, it has no charge adapter. If I were to buy a new cradle for the x50, would it come with a charge adapter included?

It looks like you have the x50? You should be able to take the battery out and put it in the rear slot and charge it that way until you get the replacement that you decide on. Not a great solution but better than not being able to charge at all.
edit: never mind. i thought you meant the dongle adapter but I looked at it again and I think you mean you don't have the AC adapter? If you are looking for the AC adapter you can use one that is for either the x5 or x50. they are the same part number and are available on ebay pretty cheap.
No, sorry for the terminology. I do have an ac adapter. It's the dongle that I don't have.
You should be able to charge the battery in the rear slot then and buy a new cradle. Dell has them as well as a bunch of other places on line like Ebay etc.
