Calendar Conflict

My first post...hoping someone out there can help.

I've been using an X50 for nearly 3 years with no problems but suddenly I'm getting a persistent Outlook calendar conflict between my AX and desktop. When I synchronise, Activesynch tells me I have 1 unresloved item. Does anyone know how to identify exactly what the conflict is or how to resolve it?

Activesynch gives several choices to "resolve item" but all it does is restart the synch process which brings the same old result. I'm using Activesynch v4.5 after this ahppened about a week ago with the previous version installed.

The conflict means I can't rely on my calendar.

Any suggestions for relieving this frustration would be gratefully received.

Cheers,

J

I find this error occurs when changes have been made to both the desktop and Ax. Try just slightly modifying your recent entries and resync. Soft resetting and rebooting also sometimes helps.

Or you could delete your existing ActiveSync partnership and then create the partnership again. That usually works for me.

Resolving Conflict

I get this once in a while. Isn't there an option to let one overwrite the other?

I have had luck soft resetting my Axim and rebooting my PC.

Earlier I reloaded active-sync and reestablished a new partnership, but I haven't had to do that in over 9 months.
