help - my axim can't enter the windows

hi there
I face trouble on my axim. first of all, I use axim x50v with wm2005 a02.
somehow I can't boot, reset or hard reset my axim. when I try (hard/soft) reset, normally it will show progress bar and dell logo, then enter the windows. but for my axim, it only show dell logo and progress bar, but progress bar stop running when it reach +- 85%. I wait for 30 minutes, still the same, progress bar not continuous running. I've tried to pull my battery for 2 days, hope my axim could start normal, but it never happen.
so, I really appreciate for your help. may be one of you ever experience this problem. thank you

Try to do a hard reset while the battery is out and you are on power only. Just a suggestion here. I never encounter this before. Did you drop it? It looks to me like the memory is not getting read at one sector.

Try taking the battery out and letting the backup battery drain down until you can't get any display. Then, reinsert your main battery and try a hard rest again.

You might also try a search through the hardware forums. Someone may have had this same problem in the past.

SD card loader?

Have you tried re-loading your Axim from scratch (erases EVERYTHING on it) with a ROM image on a SD card using the trick where you hold down Power and WiFi buttons and then tap the reset button on back?

This may be considered a last resort, but if you've tried everything else, you might reach this point. I'm not sure where on this site the procedure is documented but I can try and dig for it if you need help.

You basically load a couple WM50*.nb0 files onto a FAT32-formatted SD card, stick the SD card in, perform the Power-WiFi-Reset "trick" and then follow the boot loader instructions.

Fair Warning, however, from what I've heard if you're not careful this could "brick" your Axim (which is why I say this might be a last resort for you). I haven't had problems doing this with mine. The biggest thing is to make sure you are on AC power as the load can take over 20 minutes to complete.

Thanks,

Exactly what did you do to get it working again?
I have the same problem.

Did you do the SD reboot thing?
