i made a big mistake installing the sdhc driver for my x50v axim(2003SE) that i found in this forum, hoping that it will recognize a 4gig sdhc card. it didn't recognize the card and now it doesn't recognize my other regular sd card.

is there a way to uninstall the driver or do i need to do a hard reset. any help would be greatly appreciated.

moral of the story... 'if it ain't broken, don't fix it'.

I would think that if the sdhc driver was installed in program memory
and has not altered reg files a hard reset may do it.
Another thing I wonder if you have sync'd since installing it!
Possibly if you had backed up your ppc you could reinstall
a previous backup.

Yes you may have been further ahead to spend the time and money
finding a 4 GB SD (only) card.

thanks for your suggestions. just to see if it's a problem i did a hard reset and it did the trick. i will restore from my dec 31 backup when i get home from work.

All u had to do was go under setting and uninstall the program.
Then do a soft reset to fix it. Thats what i did on my x50. Too bad i couldnt catch u in time.

But this confirms that the driver doesnt work on 2003se.
