When I plug x50v into cable it works but the battery does not charge. It maybe the switch that does not lock cover well enough to charge. Help.

If you are plugged into a USB port, it won't charge and run at the same time. It's designed that way to keep from overly demanding current from the USB port. use the external power supply to provide the power and it should charge/run at the same time.

If the battery switch was the culprit, it wouldn't run at all.
