problems accessing programs after dead battery

evening everyone, the problem i'm having with my x50v is that i purchased the dell gps navigation kit and loaded the software onto my pda, this works fine,however........if my pda runs out of battery after a long time standing the link to the gps software has dissapeared and all i'm left with is the files on my sd card

is there a way to recall the program after the pda has been fully charged again.

cheers

Why are you letting your battery run down on a regular basis? Don't you know that this will shorten the life of your battery?

You could probably re-create the shortcut for your GPS software. All you need to do is navigate to the .exe file that opens up the application, press & hold your stylus on it until a popup menu appears, select "Copy," then navigate to the \windows\start menu\programs. Then press & hold your stylus on a blank area of the screen until a popup menu appears, select "Paste Shortcut."
