X50 Runs 3 secs then locks

Can anyone help me with this one? I've tried soft and hard reset of the device, sync to my PC and nothing works. When I power on my Ax it runs for 3 seconds then locks up. No screen taps; no buttons work. Is this the lock that's messed up or something in the firmware? I can do a hard reset and it runs through the whole setup procedure until it prompts to continue to Windows, then it locks again, and won't boot to Windows.

try toggling the lock switch on the left side several times from locked to unlocked. Like 10 times in sequence.

Thank-you. I just tried your suggestion, but it didn't work. I tried doing it after the hard reset as well just to see, but the same thing happened. I go through the whole setup of screen alignment and then the "practice" copy and paste but when it comes to loading windows, it freezes. I then have to do a soft reset to get anything to work and it runs for 3 seconds and locks again.

Good idea though, I hadn't tried that one yet.
