ok, so my axim x50v 2003 se up and died on me suddenly. I ordered and received the HP210.

so about 2 months after, i decided to open the unit as per the video that was linked in this site of another member opening it and giving instructions. (sorry i cannot give credit since i forgot to whom it belongs)

It turns out that the box like structure which is in direct contact between the battery and the motherboard is no longer attached. I think I see the points of connection (there are 6 - the most northern one is longer and the rest are shorter).

Seeing as I am a physician and not an electrical engineer type, is there a practical way to make the contacts again? Has anyone else heard of such an event?
