Hi

I have a dell x50 I can find were the wireless iron this ,in the connection tab there is bleubooth, etc...but no dell wlan utility..... NO wireless icon ...please help me .......

You probably have the X50 Basic edition. That model does not have WiFi it just has Bluetooth. When the X50 series was released it came in 3 versions. The X50 Basic with Bluetooth, The X50 Advanced with Bluetooth and Wifi, and the X50v with Bluetooth, Wifi and a VGA screen.

Off the top of my head I would look into making sure your ROM is current. It's possible it got corrupted. Try a complete hard reset (backup any data you need B4 you do). If the hard reset does not work, then search the forums for the correct ROM and follow instructions carefully. Failure to do so will leave you with a brick. It's actually not as scary as it sounds... just don't do it during a thunder storm or if you are expecting a tornado. Loss of power during a ROM flash would be a bad thing. If your the superstitious type.. don't do it today (Friday the 13th).

The X50 can use a CF or sd wifi adapter available through many computer supply stores. Most of the current models are 802.11g adapters. You just need to be sure they have drivers available for WM03SE (assuming you have not upgraded the Axim's OS).

The FAQ linked from my signature has some details on cards but mostly in relation to the X5 model.

The card should have come with some drivers (it's software for the card) to install. You must install these first. If you don't have the software CD, look for the drivers in the Spectec site:
