8gb sdhc card - axim doesn`t recognise it
I have bought a new 8gb sdhc card, but unfourtunately my axim x50v doesn`t react that it is inserted. I checked card with pc - it worked! Does anyone know what`s the problem?

The axims don't natively recognize SDHC cards.
If you are running wm5 on your x50v then you can install a driver for it found in this thread.
It will allow the card to be used up to 4gb.
If you have no other use for the SDHC card, a camera or something else that uses it, you may as well send it back and get an SD card.

Yes, unfortunately their is some memory limits for older oses.

Wm2003se cant read any sdhc. The only solution people have found is getting a cf to sd adapter. But, if your going to do that, you might as well get a cf card, b/c they work in larger sizes without any drivers.

Wm5 can support sdhc fully up to 4gb with a driver. 8gb+ are unofficially supported and may not work with all capacity.

Wm6 supports sdhc "out of the box". There are unofficial roms out there for wm6, but since they are unofficial, you do run the risk of ruining your device.
