I had to buy a new wireless router. Old one died

I can connect using WEP encryption so I know all is working.

Can't connect using WPA

Using the following

SSID is broadcasting

WPA-PSK TKIP and WPA2 PSK both active

Channel 11

B and G both enabled.

This is a NETGEAR G router model WGR614v9.

On the Dell Axim X50v I am using WLAN utility.

Turn on WLAN

The network SSID shows up and says available. It appears that I am entering the wrong password, but I have double triple checked it.
Sometimes it even comes up and asks for the password but never connects.

I have deleted the network several times and started over but no combination of settings seems to work

Authenication is set at WPA-PSK and Data Encryption is TKIP

The network key does look too long. I use a simple passwork of only numbers but there are more stars showing than digits I use.

Help? I do not want to go back to WEP. A new housing development is coming in and I will no longer be secluded. Network security is more important than ever for me.

Also - you must have your router set to mixed mode. Axims only work on b.
