Hello together,

first of all i want to say that my english is not the best, so sorry if i cant tell my problem in the "clear" and simple way :)

To my problem:
I have a x50v with Windows Mobile 5 ROM Version A02 (01180700) - Language: German.

Last week i had a undefinably problem, so my pda has made a hard reset, without asking me :) But i had a 5 days old backup of the system, so i didn't get angry about it. After playing back the backup, i installed a little porgram, which was not in the backup yet, and tried to make a new backup with the latest programs in it. Im using SPB Backup, and before i made a backup, the software said that the backupfile will have a size of 219(!) MB. So i tried to find out, why the software thinks that i have such a big storage.

I found the problem (I think i found it) in the \Windows\Activesync folder.
It looks like this:


You see, i have a huge storagefile, more than 4 GB ;)

The Problem is, the folders cant be deleted with TotalCommander.

Has anyone an idea, how to "clear" the folder? Or is a hardreset without a backupfile the only way?

IF a file is in use by an active program, it can't be deleted. :)

Have you tried turning ActiveSync off and deleting the file?
