Screen Won't Turn Off

I hadn't synced in quite a while & finally did it last night. Since then, my screen won't shut off. Under Power/Advanced, I have it set for 1 minute on battery and 5 minutes on external power. I have tried changing the settings, but it still stays on. Is there another setting I am overlooking somewhere?

Thanks

Do you mean when it is in the cradle? or all the time?

If it is when in the cradle, that is caused by activesync on the PC keeping it awake.

If it's all the time, I don't know what to say except have you tried a soft reset?

Interesting, it was out of the cradle, but Active sync was till running. However, it looks like I have a bigger issue like the battery being no good. It seems like after charging it's always at 85-90% and within a couple hours it's dead. I just ordered a new battery & need to get that straight then will see if the other issue is still there.

Thanks

Activesync doesn't stop itself, in fact unless you have changed your system the X only minimizes programs and they continue to run in the background.
This uses up memory and power.
If you go
Start/settings/system/memory/running programs
you can see what is running and stop them.
A task manager allows you to change the X to make programs close.
Wifi also drains the battery very quickly.
