Which OS do you have on your X50V?

If it's WM5 your problems might just be related to the Fake Server Trick.

Exclamation OS on Dell Axim X50V

MS Windows Mobile 5.0 OS 5.1.70 (Build 14402.1.1.0). You know after reading your post, I remember doing this to my Axim when I first got it years ago. I'm wondering if somehow recently it changed. I've done the dirty deed and will reevaluate it in the next couple of days. Also I was wondering how often one must change out their batteries? I've had both of mine since 2006. I exchange them from time to time. What do you think?

Might want to make the text a little bigger? Even I'm having trouble reading it.

Batteries' charges usually degrade throughout a few years. I've had one of my original Dell batteries for 3-4 years. It holds a maximum charge of 80-85%. So it would be a personal choice as to when to replace it.
