I beg to differ on the page pool suggestion from Calcprgmr1...
Storage memory can be increased by, yes, just adding CF/SD cards. Some programs may not be able to install on a external card (I.e. SPB Mobile Shell). There isn't much you can do.
You have a few options to free up RAM. First you can try out
Hibernate, it sends out a hibernate message to all programs that may save you a few MB...
Second, you could try actually closing the programs instead of minimizing them (Default). A program like
Wisbar can help you there. A free program like
Magic Button also works.
Third,
PPC Tech's RAM upgrade (From 64MB to 128MB) can be found here. It costs $169.
The Page Pool edits does not alter the speed of everyday computing by significant amounts. If you decide not to use a Page Pool, sure, ONE program may run faster than normal. But if you even try to open one more program, problems will occur. So basically, you are sacrificing the amount of simultaneous programs for the speed of one program.
