Gah.... I have had my X50V since 2004 and never had the Wifi or BT problem. Until now (admittedly I have not used the wifi in some months). BT still works perfectly, but wifi gives me the error. No amount of soft or hard resets will fix it either (I'm still running WM2003SE, A05 ROM).

I had this problem with an x50v that I bought off a member on this board. I noticed it right away, wlan driver not found, also the cf slot card unrecognized even when inserting the blank cf card (2003, se A05). After several soft/hard resets wifi worked, but it was very inconsistent-sometimes all day with no problems, though once the led stopped turning on, it would take a hard reset to make wifi operational again. I could never resolve the cf slot issue however.

I went through this sequence of testing from 2003se, wm5 a01, wm5 a12, wm6 a02, and lennys wm6.1 a09. I read most of the thread, and I noticed no difference between the operating systems. I ended up selling it on ebay, noting the cf and wifi problems, which was fine, since I got it in the first place for $45 shipped.

I get something like that... It asks me to give the "new" network device a name sometimes when I turn on the WiFi.
