ok im sure this has been deiscussed before but after reading the older posts for the x30s nothing is working on my new x50v.

i get the "page not found error" when i try to type in or click on a website. i went thru the wifi guide and i can indeed get to google using the ip address, and in fact i can active synch to my desktop. but for some reason typing in a standard "http://www.dell.com" or even "www.google.com" will makes that page not found error pop up. i have done the welcome.exe fix but it didint help either. can anyone help me out??

You have DNS issues. Go to Settings > Connections > Connections. Click on the Advanced tab on the bottom. Select the 'Network Card' button. Click on the network card in the list. Then click on the Name Servers tab, type in the IP addresses the name servers that your ISP provides.

Although this shouldn't be needed it will force the name resolutions. If DHCP is enabled, the name server address should automatically be configured.

If you have DSL or cable and have a router, the router should be able to tell you the IP addresses for the name servers.
