Problem with Wifi...

I'm having this peculiar problem with the Wifi connection.

On the Today page, the wireless icon shows 5 bars. According to the WLAN utility, the device is connected to my router. If I go to Main -> Setting though, it shows the router as 'Available' instead of 'Connected'. Tapping the antenna icon at the top shows that I'm not connected. Checking my router's DHCP table, the Axim doesn't show up. I've already tried to hard reset once. Wififofum can pick up the wireless router. How come I can't connect?

Have you got Mac Filtering, WEP, SSID, etc, turned on or off? Have you been through IkeHiker's WiFi Guide - Troubleshooting section?

Just trying to eliminate variables!

MAC filtering off, WEP off, SSID on (since the thing can't pick it up otherwise). I'm starting to think maybe the Wifi card got busted somehow, but I've never dropped the device or done anything to warrant it breaking.

I'm running out of ideas too! Have you got xp pro sp2 on your desktop? Firewall might be causing issues...

Ike may have more of a clue than me!

Try changing the channel or even reseting the router.

I restored the router to factory defaults and hard resetted the Axim and it works now. I wonder what the problem was? There was nothing wrong before and I never changed any settings...
