BT will allow up to 8 devices to connect simultaneously. I've never tried to connect more than one device at a time so I cant help you more than that.
Have you been able to connect each device independently?

I think it is 7 devices with BT.

No, I believe the X50 only allows ONE bluetooth device at a time to connect to it... unless I've missed something.
The device doesnt have anything to do with it, its the capability of the BT version. Currently version 1.2 (what is installed on the x30/x50/etc) can maintain 8 connections (your device plus 7 others).
I'm sure I read somewhere it also depends on the profile, so that your can have (for example) a BT GPS on a serial port profile AND a GPRS phone on a DUN profile but you can't have two serial port connections. Now all I need to do is remember which GPS forum I read it in
I think we all hear about theory part. But does anyone have real successful experience of connecting 2 (or more) BT devices to your x50v at the same time? For example, BT keyboard + BT headset, BT GPS + BT headset (my case), or BT mouse + whatever.
I seems to work!
I don't know if the order of pairing matters or not.
I connected headset and then GPS. Then I see
the little boxes with two green arrows pointing each other appear on both devices' shortcut icons.
Now I can hear BT GPS nevigation voice from my BT headset. Isn't it cool.
I'm glad that this works for you. However, when I called Dell and asked them this very question (to aid in my decision to buy either an IR or BT keyboard, as I hope to use a BT cell phone for internet connectivity), their tech support told me that it could only support one BT device at a time. As it turns out, the IR keyboard works really well, but it's good to know that I can add multiple BT devices in the future.
I just bought a BT folding keyboard and had hoped to use it with my soon-to-be-delivered X50v paired with my Moto V710. But then it hit me that maybe the Axim won't talk to both at the same time. Has anyone been able to get an Axim to work with a BT keyboard while also using a BT modem? If not, I'll probably have to find an X50v-to-V710 cable.

I've successfully connected my x50v to my v710 cellphone AND a moto hs820 bt headset at the same time. The order of connecting each device DOES matter. In my case, I have to connect to the phone first before connecting the headset. Won't work the other way around. Just play with it and you'll figure it out. DOn't have gps so can't say about that
the headset and v710 both connect to the x50v. ie. no direct connection between phone and headset. v710 can't do multi-connect. btw, you have to do the initial device discovery one device at a time, then connect to the device you want, headset should be the last one to connect in my case (v710 and hs820)
