AdHoc WLAN dropping connections

Hi,

When I connect my x50v with my laptop using WLAN, after 1 to 2 minutes, the x50v will "drop" the connection, so the connection gets lost and the PDA has to reconnect.
After reconnection, the connection is stable for again about 1 to 2 minutes and then gets dropped, and so on...
When using the PDA with a public hotspot (i.e. of an Apple store) there is no problem at all.

Anybody any ideas?

Thx a lot,

cmdkeen

Is there any interference nearby, such as cordless phones?

I had this problem too, are you connecting through the default dell wlan client? If so, try usng Odyssey instead. My pda still drops connections every now and then for no reason but much less often now that I'm connecting with Odyssey
