Sound problem, internal sound no longer fuctional??

I've had my X50v for about a week now, and I have just started using it more regularly for mp3s and videos with some headphones, and today when I docked it and tried playing something, nothing came out. So I tried pluggin in some headphones (after a soft-reset didn't fix it) and it worked just fine, but when I pull them out the sound goes dead. I, using my typical poke-aroundedness fixed it rather quickly by inserting my stylus into the headphone and wiggling just real lightly and Voila! sound. Just wondering if anyone else has seen/heard of this.

P.S. Since when does the big end of the stylus unscrew for a reset? and does anyone use it for this, the stylus end works just fine. Hmmm

Had the same problem, It is due to a connector problem. When you insert headphones, in some cases the connector get jammed, and the external speakers get permenantly disabled.

Call DELL's technical support, you will get a brand new one!

Hmmm... I have had this problem... twice now my x50v speaker has gone dead after I've used headphones -- both times, soft reset corrected the problem.
