Incomplete Program Removal - How do I get rid of it?

I recently installed a program called Hot Death UNO to my SD card. It worked fine for a while, but then I decided to remove it. The Removal took care of the program and it is no longer on my card, but there is still an inactive icon for the program that I cannot get rid of. I searched in file explorer, but cannot find any files for this program. Any suggestions on how to get rid of icons/shortcuts that aren't attached to a program.

I have the same problem and a reboot has no impact on this stubborn icon. Are their any other suggestions?

Look in Windows/Start, any subdirs there and /program files and any subdirs there for a .lnk file with the offending name. Delete it.

Is the inactive program on your unit memory or card? if it's on your system, try MemMaid (pocketgear.com) there is a free download. worked great on freeing up memory and deleting hudden programs, etc.

Open File Explorer on your device. Go to the Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Games folder. Hold down your stylus on the offending icon and choose delete from the popup menu. This is what jaxx10 said but with the removal step added.

A hard-reset should be your last choice for a problem like this unless you made a backup before installing the program. It would work but you'd have to install everything all over again.
