No, the Storage Memory has remained at 9.31 MBs the whole time. What does this mean if it's not going to the Storage Memory?

Well, 0.11MB difference probably isn't a leak. I wouldn't worry until you start losing alot more. Just my 2 cents

But, after a soft re-set Program Memory used is 13.29 MBs and when I plug it into the USB which turns on ActiveSync, the Program Memory jumps to 15.41 and keeps going up a few .MBs every few hours. Should ActiveSync be causing that to happen??

Why exactly do you feel this is a problem?

Is your Axim slow or something?

Its running Windows, which is known to be VERY heavy on memory... Probably most of the Axim users with WM2003SE are running that amount of ememory usage... I don't understand where th eproblem is.

How much free RAM do you have? Stop looking at the used one and look at how much resource you have left.
14mb to run a Windows OS is not that much if you ask me.

Wow...finally my question is answered..."Its running Windows, which is known to be VERY heavy on memory... Probably most of the Axim users with WM2003SE are running that amount of ememory usage..."
I just didn't know if this was unusually high since in my Toshiba 335 (running WM2002)the memory used is much lower. Is the fact that the used memory keeps going up when the only program that I have running unusual or is that also just part of running 2003?

Thanks for this input.

Memory Leak

My X50v is losing 15.8 KB a minute! (about 1MB an hour)
Just watching the memory slider screen.

I have pocket plus, weather panel, ms voice.

I hope that Dell releases Windows Mobile 2005 for the X50v

Lol.... and since when Windows upgrades are fixing memory leaks? If memory leaks there is... :)

Honestly, if you guys are really experiencing memory leaks, Its most probably one of the softwares you installed causing the leak, not the OS itself.

My x50 is running perfectly fine with all the software you mentioned above by the way, and even more!...

In idle mode, its always staying at a stable 32mb free ram.

I'd bet my mother your problem is caused by the memory/storage slider and not a "memory leak"... The Axim seems to try to dynamically set the storage/memory slider sometimes, that could explain why you think you're leaking.

It did that on mine until I used Pocket Mechanic to set the storage/memory slider at 15mb/47mb. Never had any problems after that.

Idle, with Wisbar Advance 2, A wisbar Advance theme, Weather Panel, Weather Panel Animated Icons, SpbPocketPlus and a custom today theme, there is 13.33mb in use, 31.54mb free.

I'm experimenting - Did HARD reset.
First no activesync - No memory leak - No BT or WiFi problems
testing it off and on for 2 hours
Partnered with PC - using activesync - No memory leak - No BT or WiFi problems.
W2003SE is not the problem (and so far BT and WiFi are working perfectly)
Will start adding software. Will report findings
