Dell WLAN utlity - auto hide?

I've been using this Axim X50V for about a month now, and finally starting to feel comfortable... So far I've only got 2 pet peeves (other is why a 640x480 screen on the axim does not look like on on the desktop, or when web browsing...).

While driving w/ the wifi turned on, the Axim pops up a window to the effect of "do you want to connect?" with a button for hide. I hit hide, it goes away until I get into the range of another hot spot, and it pops up again. The simple answer is not to have wifi turned on, but I'd rather hide this notification somehow.

Networks to access is "only access points".

I do not have "automatically connect to non-prefered networks" checked off. I thought that was supposed to prevent this <shrug>.

Any ideas? Thanks!

you might be able to change this under settings --> alarms and notifications. Simply turn off the notification for 'network detected' (not sure what it's called).

that notice is quite annoying , especially if you use your gps alot like myself , it covers 1/3 of the map.
