This is what I get now after I updated the x50v with the ROM update. The update went fine, restoring the backup went great, it's on the cradle now and I can get to files and update the weather panel and surf if I need to. But it won't sync now? It says it's connected.....any suggestions???????

HELP HELP HELP
I've rebooted both machines, deleted profiles, it still has a synchronization error.
I can install programs, move files and update through the cradle but it keeps giving me the sync error.

Hate to keep reposting in my own thread but I need some help.

Whenever I have seen synchronization error message, the prompt is to remove the Ax from the cradle and then reinsert it. That fixes the sync error every time. Since you've tried that, I can't think of anything else to try. You aren't referring to unresolved items, are you?

No it starts to sync, after 5 seconds it just stops. I can install and move files....I just can't back up or sync.

Alrighty.
After delete the partnership numerous times(5), it finally sync'd. That was a little more than weird. It seems to be working now. Hopefully if someone else has this problem and removing the cards doesn't help, keep deleting the partnership. You gotta love computers.

hard reset and don't restore. do a new backup first if it makes you more comfortable. the instructions were to NOT restore but re-install. it's probably a mail error. you could also try unchecking everthing except 'contacts' and see if that will sync on its own.
