x50 with no "Dell WLAN Utility"
First of all, HI. Happy to be here!! But...
Can it be??
I thought that the x50 has built in WiFi... But I cant activate it!!
I updated the rom to the new version. So if I click twice on the wireless button (on the side) I get "Enabling Wireless" but nothing more... :iconbangh
Please halp... I am going postal!!! :rolling: :iconbangh

Welcome to the site.
Which X50 do you have? The mid or low? If you have the low, then you do not have wifi, only BT, which could be what is being enabled.

That's all you will get when you push the button. It enables wireless. You then have to do something else like tap on PIE if you want internet.

No, nothing...
I dont have a wireless interface!! When I go to "Network Cards" there is no wireless interface!!
But look what is written in the store web site:
Dell Axim X50 416MHz
Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, Intel XScale 416
MHz PXA270 Processor, 64 MB RAM/ROM, 240x320 Pixels,
Bluetooth,WiFi <---
model: AX-RA01-0397
Link to the page...
So I dont have a clue where to start. I only hope that its not the "low" model... Because that means I'm F**Ked...

Eric is correct. Here is the proof on the Dell site.
You got the X50 low. I too think you should contact the site you purchased from and send it back.

Looks like these YardenPC guys who sold it to you were not correct about the one they sold you. There are models WITHOUT WiFi, and sounds like you got one. Sad. Hope they make it right with you.
