black spot in the screen with dark colors

I noticed that my Axim x5 presents a spot when is on, with black full screen the spot becomes well visible.
The same occur with the more dark colors, but the spot is less visible... The stranger is that the same colors, clear, do not present the spot...
I believe that the defect is in the light bulbs, but also descordo why for that I see they only meet in the edge of low.
Me it does not seem a case of dead pixel...
I am wanting to know alone for curiosity therefore in image (not in entire screen of one only "dark" color) the spot does not appear, and the pixels functions normally...

I can think of one thing you can try. Create a white image in Paint that is 320x240 and bring it up on your screen with the image viewer. Let it sit there for several hours when your Axim is in the cradle.

Make sure you have your Axim set to not shut off when on AC power. It is ok if the backlight goes off, since the LCD will still be displaying the image.

Let me know if you still have an issue afterwards.

I think I have the same problem with my x50v, exept there are too spots and they are slightly visible when the screen its off, when there is a white background they are visible as blue and when it is a dark background like when I open TCPMP, they are black spots which are even more visible and annoying, especialy when I am watching a movie. I had it at a party playing music through a system, and I think someone may have touched the screen to hard, does anyone think thats the problem?
