I have had my X50 for about 5 months with no problems what so ever. Then out of the blue yesterday I went to sync it using the cradle and it connected as a guest. It has been doing every time I try to sync using the cradle. What is causing this???

Have you done a hard reset recently? Sometimes that can be the culprit of needing to reestablish a partnership with the x50 and the PC

Open the ActiveSync window>File>Delete Partnership.

Then delete the parnership.

Then just check under File>Mobile Device, that no active partnerships are listed.

Next time you Sync, It will give you the option of setting up the axim as the main partnership and not as a guest.

The hard restart worked. Tahnk you for helping me. I wasn't quite sure what a hard restart was when I read about it in earlier messages.

I'm having the same problem. I can delete the partnership and create a new one, but eventually it will start connecting as guest again.

Very frustrating - HELP!

I have the same problem. Read somewhere in the X5 forum about deleting some entry in PocketHosts. I have no idea what that is. Can someone help?
