Hi all! I'm not exactly a newbie, but pretty close. One of the main reasons I got a PPC is to store appointments in the hope that I'll be where I need to be on time. Unfortunatley, I've been having difficulty syncronizing appointments with my computer at work. The appointments sync just fine and there are no dupliate appointments like other folks on this site have been having difficulty with. However, every appointment from my Outlook at work syncs but then shows up as being 1 hour later than it should be when I open calendar on my Axim x50v. Does anyone know what's up with this? I can't exactly be on time if all of my appointments show up 1 hr later than they should be....
Thanks.

Check to make sure the clock settings on your PC and PPC match and that both are set to Daylight Savings Time. Also, make sure your Clock and Alarm setting is set to "Home" and not "Visiting".
Hmmm...my PC is set to daylight savings. Any other suggestions. I'm stumped. It looks like others have been able to resolve this using the daylight savings check box on the PC and adjust clock check box on ActiveSync. I've tried both to no avail.

I had this problem - was the desktop not set to adjust for daylight savings and later reset to adjust? I thought my work computer was set to adjust for daylight savings, but only the server was - my computer clock was just adjusting to match the server's clock.
Even after I set the desktop to adjust for daylight savings, the problem did not correct itself. The only way I was able to get this corrected was by going into each appointment and changing the time twice so that the correct time got sent to the Axim.
For example - 9:00 AM appointment showing up (if I am remembering the correct way it was off) as 9 AM on the desktop and 10 AM on the Axim. Had to change the desktop to an incorrect time and save the appointment. When the Axim synched, it would change to the new time. Re-changed the appointment back to 9 AM and I was done.
Fortunately, I don't have a lot of appointments to track on my calendar - the Personal Information Manager function of my Axim is mainly a address book and task manager (numerous tasks to keep track of).
Thanks for the info. That is exactly what happened. After I changed my work computer to adjust for daylight savings, I had to restart the work computer, delete all of my appointments from the axim and outlook, then change all of the appointments back to the correct time. I synched and now the appointments are showing up correctly. What a pain! I couldn't figure out another way to do it though.
Thanks for everyone's help. You all rock.
Karie
