I'm using a x50v with an extended battery. I've noticed a couple times that when I turn on my Axim I would get a warning saying the the battery cover is off but yet when I check the cover is on securely. Has anyone else seen this before? Not really a problem just more of an annoyance.

Is the cover sitting tightly in its nest. If it is loose try to shake it and see if the message appears or the axim shut down.

If Its a 3rd party battery/Cover, make sure the two hooks at the bottom of the Cover fit properly. If they don't fit just right, they wont make firm Contact with the switch (inside) the axim. worst Case, It won't power up. if it's intermittent, yorill get the message you just posted. Chick to Make Sure the little tits on the cover are not deformed or broken...

I got that message after I dropped it but the cover was still on.
