No Notes with Switcher
I am new to PPC in general and to my Axim X50v and I need some help. When I have the switcher app activated, it doesn't show any of my notes on contacts, tasks or calendar items. If I soft reset and don't turn switcher back on it works fine. Is there a way to have both at the same time?? Or is that too much to ask? Other than that issue (which is fairly important to me) I haven't had any trouble with it.

Not quite sure what your saying... I have never heard of a bug like that. Can you try explaining better?

Thanks for the help, I installed magic button and it works great. It still bugs me that switcher bar doesn't work right, but I guess nothing's perfect.

If you want something that you will use for a long time, and has better uses than anything else, get SPB Pocket Plus. It enhances Internet Explorer to be multi-windows, full-screen, and others, puts an "up one level" icon in File Explorer, handles ZIP files, Lets you edit the extensions and properties of files, Have programs and System indicators on the today screen, have a battery level indicator always at the top of the screen always visible, and even make the Close button actualy Close programs! I was skeptical for $20. But this is the best $20 I've ever spent. Seriously. It's awesome. Try the trial, you'll love it!

I've been wondering about this as I have experienced this bug as well.
When editing tasks or calendar appointments there is a little tab at the bottom of the screen that you tap on to enter notes on a task or appointment. If the Switcher bar is activated, when you tap on the notes tab it is no longer possible to enter any text, drawings or recordings on the notes screen and the cursor doesn't come up anymore.
The only way to get the notes tab to function again is to soft reset

Me too..
I understand your frustration- same here. First, the only way to see your Notes in Calendar is to do a soft reset (or view them in Outlook on your PC). I really liked Switcher, but the solution is to switch to, e.g., Magic Button, which is available for free at freewareppc.com, under Utilities/Task Manager. Program has some really nice features (open tasks show up in top bar until you close them, for easy switching).
One feature that was neat about Switcher, of course, was easy access to brightness and battery status, but, it does not work well with Calendar, apparently. Good luck.
