Migration from IPAQ 3765 to Axim X50V

I apologize if this is not that forum to post in, but I see no other.

I just bought the X50V and I need to migrate all my information like notes, ewallet files, agenda fusion appointments and calendar, pocket quicken and other information

What is the best way to do this? Is it possible to do a fullbackup on my IPAQ and then do a restore of that file to the X50V?

Please advise and thank you.

Well it may be possible to do... But I think you are better off re-installing the software on the Axim and then syncing the data.
Some of the programs may have been updated so you should check for the latest versions

So what you are saying is the backup of the IPAQ (which was done using Microsoft's Activesync), I can just do a restore to my Axim X50V?

ActiveStink is a picky, finiky piece of software.

As much as this sounds like advertising, get Sprite backup.
I know ActiveSync wont sync data to a different device and I doubt the generic backup utility will be ok with the different unit.

But, I think I understand the above point. Sync to desktop like to sync contacts and stuff so Outlook has everything then sync your X50 to the data. (I am anti-sync I store most of the stuff exclusively on my Ax)
