Mad Downgrading the ROM

Hello!

I´m wondering if anybody now howto downgrad the A04 ROM to A03ROM.
I got a Axim X50 with the A04, and it doesnt work good, i get critical error when i restart the PDA. So i want to install the A03 ROM instead, can anyone help me.

It might be a problem with some software that is loading on startup. Does it still do it after a hard reset. If so, then I would send it back to dell for a replacement.

-sure is, try to think of it as upgrade, the same steps will be used to downgrade as to upgrade.

-however, as Doogie mentioned (we) think that your problem is from an aplication level not the os.

-meanning, starts to uninstall the lasted applcation you've installed (lately)

-beside a hard reset would be in order before downgrading, imho.

it's not possible to downgrade with the dell upgrade utility. i found some hacked upgrade program but wasn't able to get it work

I have uninstalled all my applications, and reinstalled them. Now it seems to work just fine.

Downgrading the ROM is easily done with the Dell upgrade utility if you made a backup of your old ROM before upgrading.
