Well ... in the light of day ... both my husband and I have decided to do Hard Resets on our Axim's.

We have read so many wifi post here and the tutorials here and we really feel that we have the router set up correctly - remember it was working fine until two days ago....

So...we are going to do the Hard Reset thing and start off fresh and see what happens.

cLaunch question for X50V users...have any of you who use cLaunch had any trouble with cLaunch not appearing on your today screen?

Sometimes it shows up and sometimes it doesn't...When it doesn't I have to go back into settings and uncheck it and then recheck it in the Today Screen Items List....

If others are having same problem...then maybe I will search for alternative before reinstalling.....

And ... Main Memory Question .... I previously basically followed Frenchy's advice as to where to load stuff...but just want to check since I am having troubles...

Main Memory:
TenGO keyboard
psShutXP
x50Mix
ripboard
WR-Tools - Resinfo

BIS - ALL my programs - PI, Wisbar, Pocket Breeze, AIM, Total Commander. Memmaid, Sprite Backup, etc, etc....

SD card - Games installed there...plus all music, movies, e-books, etc...

I have replaced the huge ODclientce.exe with a renamed small txt. file as suggested here.....

Moved shared dll's via Memmaid

Moved IE temp files and cache to SD card via Memmaid

And I also moved e-Reader Peanut Press file to Bis after install.....

Any glaring errors there?

Regarding the problem with claunch not appearing on today's screen I have the same problem, need to go to the today setting screen and go out and then claunch appears, same problem I have is with Owner info X, is not a big trouble but shouldn't be that way, I'm thinking to switch to another launcher application

I had the same kind of problem quite some time back. I started out with cLaunch and it was working fine. Installed Sprite Backup which installed PocketMon Today plug-in and then I started having problem with cLaunch. So I had to uninstall PocketMon and then cLaunch started working fine.

Later, I bought Pocket Breeze, Contact Breeze, iLauncher and Pocket Weather from SBSH. Everything was working fine. So next I decided to uninstall cLaunch since I have iLauncher. After removing cLaunch, I decided to give PocketMon one more try. Well guess what, I started having problems with Pocket Weather. It never starts up, I had go to the Today page, check and then un-check the box and then everything works fine. So I decided that PocketMon is the culprit, again uninstalled PocketMon and everything is working fine now.

Later I went to Sprite Software Forum and found that various people have reported problems with PocketMon and Sprite has already indicated that they are going to stop giving and supporting PocketMon with Sprite Backup sometime in the very near future.

So long story short, uninstall PocketMon, do a soft-reset and see whether cLaunch is working fine or not.

That's SO good to learn!! ...cause I REALLY LOVE my cLaunch!
I just did my Hard reset...everything's so clean and nice :-)

(you hate to even think about Hard Resetting...but when you do...it is kinda nice...especially if you have all your vital info backed up)

I had the same problem with claunch but in my case it was caused by PocketBreeze. I removed PB and now claunch is working just fine.

If PB is causing you grief with cLaunch then go to SBSH's forum at www.sbsh.net/forums and tell them your problem and certainly Amit or one of the other developer will respond back to you very soon. SBSH's customer service is one of the best that I have seen.

Thanks for the info. I just got my new x50v two weeks ago and I am still trying different today plug-ins. I gave up on PB for this reason (but still liked it a lot), so based on your suggestion, I will post a question on SBSH's forums.
