Has anyone else had there BIS actually copied into a duplicate BIS 2?
The "Built in Storage" becomes empty, and a new directory called "Built in Storage 2" appears will all the orignal BIS's contents. This directory has an icon showing it to be a disk, not just a standard folder, and the normall BIS directory appears as a standard folder (no special icon). Nothing is lost, but shortcuts obviously dont work, and its ****ing annoying.
Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

This happened to me for the first time today, after trying to install some new programs. The weird thing I noticed was a pop up asking about how I wanted to handle the mail sync between my computer and the Axim. I didn't give it much thought until my I noticed no more icons for shortcuts. I ended up with a "Built in Storage" folder that had another folder called "Inbox.mst29736001.26711766704".
The first time, going through explore from the active sync window, I copied the entire "Built in Storage2" contents to my CF card. Then I deleted the "Inbox.mst.... folder". Then copied everything back into the "Built in Storage folder".
The second time, I just deleted the "Built in Storage" folder and although I couldn't change the name of the "Built in Storage2" folder, once I did a soft reset, it was changed back to "Built in Storage". Very strange stuff, but I'm back to normal now.
This happened both times when I couldn't complete a program install. I seem to have better luck if I do a soft reset after each time I instlal something new.
