Buttons not working
I am new to this, so I hope I can explain the problem okay.
I have had a Dell Axim v50x for a couple of months and the buttons have never worked.
The first time I press a button it works. After that no other button works until I do a soft reset. The only exception is the on/off which will work until I press another button, then I will need to do another soft reset.
ROM is A03, ROM A03
Thanks for any advice you can give,
Lisa Beame

My advice is call Dell and get a replacement. That is unacceptable. I'm not sure how and why you've put up for it for months.

Have you tried Setting > Personal > Buttons to customise your button assignment?

I was hoping to keep that as a *final* solution as I don't think I can live without my Axim! and Dell take forever to deliver things to where I live (between the middle of nowhere and the Atlantic).
Thanks for the suggestion.

Dude, unless dell do strange things where you live. They send you another unit out and you can transfer all your data to that newer unit and THEN you send the old unit back. I had 2 X50v for over 2 months, despite repeated phonecalls to dell to pick up my old broken unit (non working headphonejack).

Good God! You've been putting up with this for a couple of months?? You certainly have the patience of a saint!
I hope your replacement unit treats you much better! Good luck!

I may have the patience of a saint, but that's as far as it goes (fortunately)
Thanks everyone for the advice. Actually, it was more stupidity than patience. It just took me a that long to figure out why my games didn't work.
