White Vertical Lines on Screen. Advice needed.

About a week ago, I plugged my Axim into a car power outlet using a Belkin Toshiba E740 car charger adapter (I read it was compatible with the Axim x50v)and a Gomadic USB charge/sync cable. When I did this the screen blanked out and showed white vertical lines on a dark background. I have been able to recreate this problem by loading up a ton of memory intensive apps (movies, wireless, BT, etc.)

A soft-reset cures the problem.

I am wondering if this is a normal thing experienced with the Axim X50V or if I should return it to Dell and get an exchange.

I have attached a picture showing the possible problem below. (The white square shown on the screen is a reflection).

I would call to clear up things to make sure that the car charger didn't damage the display.

I will probably exchange the Axim just to be on the safe side. I have the advance exchange option, but I sure would hate to be apart from my Axim even for a day.

You won't be apart as they send you the replacement and you ship the old one using the same packaging following their included shipping instructions. I also would like to extend my Welcome to you at aximsite. :approve:

Thanks for the welcome. I love this site and have been surfing it religiously since getting my Axim.
