I have hard resetted my X50v, installed only the PDA2K_BroadcomCorp_BT Upd and nothing else (so plenty of free memory), set processor speed to max 624 MHz and yet skipping still occurs while playing mp3 files using my BT Stereo Headset on High Quality Audio Profile? Anybody has any solution? Thank you.
Have you try to upgrade to 1.6 stack. If it is still not satisfactory then please hard-reset and try the HP patch.
Thanks, I have tried hard reset and install HP BT Patch....darn!...it still skips....tried 1.6 stack too..and guess what?...skippinng still..I am at my wits end.
Also tried iMusic, Mort Player, Pocket Player, GPS player, all also no help...
Is there any one at all out there who completely avoided skipping using either iTech Clip S or Motorola HT 820 BT stereo for mp3 on WMP10?
I'm using Pocket Hack Master 2005(CPU 208 - RAM 52 - LCD 52 - T T - SI 155 - MIPS 76 - STATUS PASS)with anycom BT Stereo Headset PDA2K_BroadcomCorp_BT Upd (no hard reset)and with tcpmp everything work fine
I used i40play and it only skipped about once every 3 or 4 songs, but did skip at least every 20-30 seconds for all other mp3 player apps. In the end I use my BT headset for phone only, and physically plug the AX in.
Most of my mp3's are recorded in 196Kb ( I can hear the digital noise in 128Kb), but probably won't make much difference in a car, but does at home.

I applied PDA2K_BroadcomCorp_BT stack, without a hard reset, and have had no problems. I am using Logitech BTheadphones with mortplayer. I use them at the gym, so actually I am the one doing the skipping. I haven't used them to watch movies and probably won't cuz when I'm watching video,i'm usually on a plane and use noise reduction, wired headphones in that situation. For me they've worked fine. Now if only i could get my bt keyboard to reconnect...., but that's another thread! Good Luck, cause when it works, its awesome.

Hey! Thanks. I tried what you said using Pocket HackMaster and it works well on the TCPMP - the skipping was problem was licked! It does not skip at all now.......previously it can skip about 2-3 times per song :approve: But what is the reason? Do you know? So looks like lowering the cpu speed with Pocket Hackmaster and using TCPMP helps. By the way I am using iTech Clip S BT Stereo Headset.

My audio still skips (cuts out) a lot.
Where can I get this HackMaster? Is it free?
By the way, I tried installing the HP Bluetooth update but it couldn't detect my device. So I need this update? I'm using an Axim X30 High, ROM version A02.
Also, can I get the Play/Pause button on my Anycom headset to play/pause my audio file in TCPMP? When I try to use this button on the headset, it just disconnects from the Axim but the the audio still plays on the Axim speaker. I was wondering why people were staring at me when I first tried this, and then I finally realized it was because voices were coming from my pocket...
Upgraded to WM5 with MS stack, which does not offer A2DP until ealiy 2006. And just bought Plantronics Pulsar 590 including a little dongle ($120 shipped at Computerbrain.com) http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?ContentId=4862
Works great! Never skips a beat...Works everytime...with cellphone too!
Highly recommended!
