Digital Camera Addon ?

I just upgraded to an Axim x51v but I will be missing even a cheap camera like the one on my zire 71...

Are there any decent add-on cameras for my Axim that I could add to my christmas list?

Check out the following link for an SD camera. I saw it listed elsewhere in this forum. I don't know how good it works: http://www.pretec.com/product/Mobile...s/SDCamera.htm

I have the Veo Photo Traveler with my X50v which is cheap and does the job. Whatever camera you decide on, be sure to make sure WM5 drivers are available or that older drivers still work.

No doubt, but only an SD/CF cam can let you do video conferencing with your Axim. ;)

What software do you use for video conferencing?

I wished there were some camera reviews done for the Axims. I would like to get an SD version myself. Perhaps GiGi would do some camera reviews for Axim Site? :)

If want a Veo CF Photo Traveler you can get one for $7.99!

Go to buy.com and the Veo CF Photo Traveler is $32.99, apply for their credit card and get an instant $25.00 off your first purchase!

Shipping is free on this item.

Yeah, it takes 3-4 minutes to apply for a card you probably don't want but my Veo CF Photo Traveler is on the way for a total of $7.99! It works for me! I can cancel the card!

This camera is only good for the X5, X50 or X51 series. It cannot be used on the X3/X30 series because of the lack of CF slot.

That's right... Steve did say he was looking for a camera for his X30!

Thanks for catching that!
